API: Restore expired items to their original locations (BulkRestore)


Question

I am trying to recover files that have been deleted 45+ days ago and I am told by Citrix support this is only possible through the API.

I have the parent ID for the folder I want to restore but none of the item IDs.

 

Using the parent ID for the folder, I attempted to use the following variations of the BulkRestore API call:

 

https://[company].sharefile.com/sf/v3/ParentID/BulkRestore
https://[company].sharefile.com/sf/v3/[ParentID]/BulkRestore

https://[company].sharefile.com/sf/v3/Items[ParentID]/BulkRestore
https://[company].sharefile.com/sf/v3/Items([ParentID])/BulkRestore

 

In each case, I received the message "Route Not found."

 

Am I calling the API incorrectly or cannot I not use the ParentID? Any help would be much appreciated!
