Error: "The global document path cannot be retrieved"

Hi there,


I've been using the Citrix Workspace App to connect to work and for the most part it works fine.

This morning, as I was unistalling it in order to reinstall, something went wrong and the Citrix software is in limbo.

It cannot be unistalled (Control panel, etc) and it cannot be installed either as it claims it's already installed.

I suspect somehow a partial unistallation, as I'm getting "The global document path cannot be retrieved"

There are some suggestions of a full clean install or to use the Citrix Unistaller, "CTX137494 -  Receiver

Clean-Up Utility" but this does not seem to be open to the pubic.

How can one fully unistall, possibly manually? The Registry 'HKLocalMach' entries are not there either!
