Can't start desktop from workspace

Hi,

 

I recently changed my desktop OS from Windows to Ubuntu Linux due to some needs within my job. I successfully installed Citrix Workspace (currently 21.6.0.28) and logged in into the company's storefront. Now I tried to start a desktop shown on workspace but it won't. I enabled detailed logging and all I see is this:

Any ideas? Is this problem related to Citrix Workspace or our Storefront?

Hi Thomas,

 

Thank You for using Citrix Workspace for Linux.

This is not the experience we want users to have.

 

Can I request you to run the workspacecheck.sh script from the util folder present in ICAClient ( install folder of CWAL ).

This script will check for all the dependencies required to run CWAL and present details if any packages are missing.

 

Please let us know how it goes.

Hi Thomas,

 

It is a known issue we have identified, and will be fixed at the coming 21.7 Linux CWA.

 

To help launch the desktop session at your current installed  CWA version 21.6.0.28, please add below field into <CWA Installation Path>/config/AuthManConfig.xml.

<key>gRPCEnabled</key>
<value>false</value>

Then kill the background AuthManagerDeamon process before you try to launch the session again.
