VDI Registration Issue: Domain Change | MCS Build Win10 Persistent Desktop

Question

Environment:

Citrix 1912 LTSR CU1

2 DDCs , VDAs(Windows10 and Windows server 2012 R2 OS)

Problem : There was a requirement to change the MCS built Win10 persistent machine domain. After changing the domain machine is unable to register.

Note: Both domains are child of 2 forests which has 2 way trust relationship.

Troubleshooting steps:

1. Rebooted machine

2. Created registry entry on VDA HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Citrix\VirtualDesktopAgent\SupportMultipleForest (REG_DWORD) and on Controllers HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Citrix\DesktopServer\SupportMultipleForest (REG_DWORD) and set value to 1

https://support.citrix.com/article/CTX134971

Rebooted VDA and both the controllers.

3. Reinstalled Citrix VDA

4. Verified connectivity between VDA and Delivery controllers both way no issue found

5. Verified VDA communication with domain controllers no issue found.

Till i am writing this question issue is not yet fixed and i am still hunting.

Any help would be highly appreciated.

Event Logs:

The Citrix Desktop Service failed to obtain a list of delivery controllers with which to register.

Please ensure that the Active Directory configuration for the farm is correct, that this machine is in the appropriate Active Directory domain and that one or more delivery controllers have been fully initialized.

Refer to Citrix Knowledge Base article CTX117248 for further information.
