Mac Citrix Workspace: You have not chosen to trust "Starfield Root Certificate Authority - G2"

Julius Perkins

One of our users is unable to connect to Citrix from their Mac.  The error they get when Workspace attempts to launch the ICA is

You have not chosen to trust "Starfield Root Certificate Authority - G2", the issuer of the server's security certificate.

Here's what we know so far:

  1. The site passes the DigiCert test
  2. The site passes the SSLShopper test
  3. It appears to be specific to one Mac
  4. Other Macs work just fine
  5. The "Starfield Root Certificate Authority - G2" is present in keychain under System Roots
    1. The certificate is valid
    2. The trust setting is set to 'Use System Defaults'
    3. Modifying the trust level to "Always Trust" doesn't help

What else can we check?  How can we remedy this?

Here's a picture of the actual error seen on the Mac
