Why is Workspace opening my XenApp applications on the local client?

Hey folks, im out of ideas. A few month ago we moved to XenApp 7 1912 LTSR.

Since then we slowly upgraded from Citrix Receiver to Workspace app. Now we encounter a strange behavior:

If a user tries to start a published application vis SelfService, the application opens locally on the client. Actually, this is an awesome feature, because we needed this to prevent double hop's on our published desktops. But we don't want this to happen on our local clients. They should open the applications on the terminal servers even if the executables are present on the client.

I tried to disable this behavior with the GPO "Local App Access" on the client and with the "vPrefer" disable option. But no luck.

I need a way to either, disable this functionality on the clients or disable it for certain apps. The second way would be better for future plans and collaboration and meeting software.

Does anyone have the same problem and found a solution? How do you guys deal with this?
