Citrix CVAD - change site database service account password

Hello everybody

I have one special request from my managers.

We need to put in regular procedure change of all account passwords due to security request.

Since we have Citrix inplace, corresponding accounts are also affected by that request...

For hosting connection withing Citrix Studio we have ability to change password for service account that is used to connect to hosting environment, but I cannot find anything that describe precedure how to change a password of SQL service account database connections for Site, Monitoring and Logging databases.

Is there a way how to change that password manually on regular basis?

Thank you in advance.

Delivery Controllers use their Active Directory computer accounts to authenticate to SQL. Computers automatically change their AD passwords every 30 days by default. There is no service account for the SQL login.

Thank you very much Carl.. I thought I saw that note in some Citrix articles, but I wasn't to sure. That is why I have ask here if someone had similar experiences..

It will make it easier for me then...

So, SQL account is only needed when we add additional DDCs to site in order to authenticate for first time to SQL, right?
