FSLogix O365 Container Stabilty in relation to disk space

shocko

Question

So I am doing a POC of using Exchange Online Mailboxes in XenAPp 1912 LTSR. Without cached mode for Outlook the performance of Outlook is horrible. With cached mode via the FSLogix container its great but we keep hitting the container running out of space even though it's 25 GB in size. I understand how the container works but it seems to me with the 100GB mailbox size of O365 and say 2 months of cached data this limit can be reached easily. Bring other services like OneDrive and MS Teams into the mix and it worries me.

So I'm wondering:

  1. If the I can set the max file size for he OST file to control the O365 container size and ensure the cache never fills up the container?
  2. Would a better solution be to put the entire profile into a large container. 100 GB say and then re-claim the storage from other areas like the C: drive on he XenApp servers and some of the roaming profile etc.
