After upgrade to 13.0 76.29 the redirect back to logon page stopped working

Recommended Posts

I upgraded from 13.0 71.40 to 76.29 and prior to the upgrade when I logged into the gateway/Storefront and then clicked Logout it would redirect me back to the logon page.  It doesn't do this anymore but instead takes me to 'Logoff is successful'.  This is the default behavior but I have a Responder policy in place that is bound to my gateway which seemed to have stopped working:

add responder action backtoLogon_act redirect "\"https://mygatewaysite\"" -responseStatusCode 302
add responder policy backtoLogon_pol "HTTP.REQ.URL.CONTAINS(\"/cgi/logout\")" backtoLogon_act NOOP

Anyone else with the same experience?

Your responder policy should point to the action or NOOP but not both.

Noop will result in no responder policy action occurring.

add responder poliyc <policyname> <expression> <actionname>

<actionname> would either be your custom action or NOOP - are you sure that line is correct in the cli?

IF you view the policy and action in gui does it look correct or ODD like this?

Ok so looked into this a bit more and it appears the latest firmware changes the wording required for the policy to work.

In 13.0 71.40 the wording is HTTP.REQ.URL.CONTAINS(\"/cgi/logout\")  and in 13.0 76.29 it has changed to HTTP.REQ.URL.CONTAINS(\"/vpn/logout\")
