Microsoft Teams running local stops audio in Skype For Business

Mark Clayton1709155289

Question

We are running a published Windows Server 2016 Citrix Desktop with VDA 1912 CU1 and HDX RealTime Connector 2.8. We have both Skype For Business and MS Teams on our image. We have noticed if Microsoft Teams is running locally on the user device then the Skype For Business Client can't get access to the audio devices. When an incoming call is received on Skype the call is placed on hold. The only resolution is to ensure MS Teams is closed on the local device where Citrix WorkSpace runs. Is there any fix for this issue?

Hi Mark.

RTOP and MTOP are not supported to be used at the same time. They pretty much fight for the same devices, reason you see this.
