Could not communicate with the Management Service. Please verify the health of the Enterprise Layer Manager.

Question

Hello,

 

For no evident raeson applayer stop working. When trying to display system settings or upgrade the appliance we get "Could not communicate with the Management Service.  Please verify the health of the Enterprise Layer Manager."

 

Any idea?

I have these errors :

It looks there is enough disk space :

It's happening again. Seems that it is because of an mono-sgen operation, like in Windows operating system with .NET ngen compilation.

 

1761 root      20   0 3052464   1.2g  31568 R 100.0 15.6  22:24.19 mono-sgen
 

So just wait it finished with this.

sgen is a garbage collector process. It has benne running for 60 minutes now, and technicians cannot work with applayer. 

Is there a way to optimize sgen (not using all CPU, not running just after a reboot, ...) ?
