Hi Peter,

I understand your problem and it would really be nice to have the option to completely hide other users on a shared environment. But unfortunately, there seems to be no such thing. And even if the taskmgr would offer such a feature, there would still be various other ways to grab the other usernames on the system (file system, command line queries, 3rd party tools, etc).

The best you could do: go with something such as personal# instead of ordinary username conventions.

The idea for a always new genereated number or hash as the user alias is pretty good but there should be a possibility from MS or Citrix to do this.


I think the only way would be to easily disable the whole TaskManager, in most reasons users don't need it, if they do, they should call the help desk.
