FSLogix profile container -> delete pst files

Dennis Haschke

we use FSLogix on XenApp 7.14.
Some users have pst files and we have migrated the content in the user mailboxes.
The psts are located in the user profile, but i can't find the files because i can't browse in the user profile.
Is there a way to delete the psts in the user profile?
Next step......how can i reduce the profile space from each user when i have deleted the pst files?

Thanks for your answer.
But we have 100 profiles. Is it not possible that e.g. when user is logged in to search for psts and delete them.

Sure you can create a logon script or something to delete the files and run the shrink script during off-hours.

Simple Batch-File to delete files based on the extension:

del "C:\Users\%USERNAME%\Documents\Outlook Files\*.ost" /s /f /q
/s parameter will delete all files contained in the directory subfolders. If you do not want to delete files from subfolders, remove /s parameter.
/f parameter ignores any read-only setting.
/q "quiet mode", meaning you wont be prompted Yes/No.
