GSLB persistence not working - packet trace shows the DNS server is the client

GSLB is not maintaining persistence, which is causing an issue with a specific app.

Persistence is set to sourceip.  A packet trace revealed the client address for DNS is the DNS server, not the client.  This occurs with nslookup when using the cname or the real name that's in the delegated domain, which is the target of the cname.  Is it possible to get the real client IP address to the Netscaler instead of the DNS server IP address?

DNS is Microsoft.
