IP-CONFIG: no response | eth0 hardware address DHCP RARP

Hello Tobias, thanks for the answer!!!


This vm had debian 9 and after the upgrade to debian 10 this started. I removed several packages that could request DHCP, because I always use static IP in my VMs. This vm has the file /etc/network/interfaces with the IP configs and in the file /etc/resolv.conf the DNS and domain configs.


I had already removed resolvconf before. I installed it again now to remove this doubt, but it didn't resolve. Continue the messages at vm boot.


This vm is in PV mode. I already tried to change to HVM and leave the HD as first in the list, but it locks on the screen as shown in the image below.




Would you have another way to change it to HVM?
