Citrix desktop freezes on OS X Catalina

I am working on a clients site with a VPN connection using Citrix Workspace App 20.12.3 on an iMac with OS X Catalina 10.15.7.


I am stating several issues with the environment.


1. Using Safari as a browser, I am having difficulties with the copy and past functionality between Mac OS and the customer application in the Citrix environment. In addition to that the Citrix application would not start in an own window but as a new browser tab. 


2. When working on the customer Citrix farm it happens quite often that the complete Citrix window freezes. However I am still able to work on the Mac environment. Sometimes I am able to process the application in the Citrix window after some minutes but sometimes I need to ask customers Helpdesk to end the session. The help desk keeps telling me that is due to my network connection although I am still able to download high volume data with normal speed from the internet.


Any help would be appreciated.
