Migrating IOS and Android users from On prem Exchange to O365

We have got a group that we need to add users to Android Enterprise for users who are in the legacy DA to Android Ent. But other than this what can we do in order to ensure that when we migrate users from On Prem to O365 that they are migrated smoothly and can access their emails through Securemail without any issues, what else can be done?


1. Do we have to re-register the users after they have been migrated? Is there any document that you can be provided?

2. Will they get any message that they have been moved to O365 email?

In summary, Android device which are to enrol in BYOD mode need simply delete the old enrolment and then the user can download Secure Hub again. Once enrolled in the new mode, apps like Secure Mail can be deployed to the device. Once deployed, any mailbox that is moved to Office365 should remain available, assuming that authentication is setup and working well.


Note that for an Android device to enrol in a mode that is not BYOD (so any of the Fully Managed Device modes) will require that the device is first factory reset before enrolling. The only way to fully manage an Android Enterprise is by enrolling it during the First Time Use experience on the device.
