I tried

certmgr -list -c -m Root | grep -C 3 CN=DefaultRootCertificate

It went from "The issuing certificate does not have a usable private key" to "vCenter returned an error: SystemError"

What is being logged in the VMware. vSphere side i.e. recent tasks, tasks and events? Which version did you upgrade from? Are you using Offload Compositing? Yes, try without it. No, enable it. Test with a new connector, even if it is the same data as an existing connector, just give it a different name.

Otherwise, I recommend you open a ticket, attach a recent export of the ELM logs and include a link to this post.
