Since networking doesn't work either direction maybe it is more than firewalling. Was this a XVA you downloaded form your ESET Vendor ? 

If you tried setting up a new VM from scratch maybe something with the adapter isn't playing well.  If its a VM from scratch did you install 

XenTools ?

Should still work under CH 8.1. After all, it works for the other VMs. As ALan asked, was this imported from some other source and hence perhaps has some compatibility isues? Make sure your XenCenter is at least at the same level as your servers.

Also, you should be able to run "xe vif-list" from the CLI and see if you find an entry for that VM. You should also be able to delete and create a new network interface for that VM.
