Is is possible to launch workspace automatically without the GUI initially showing?

Good Afternoon,

So we are on LTSR 7.15 CU5 using Workspace

We leverage group policies to enable pass through, all that all works very well with Storefront.

My question is, is it possible to start the workspace app automatically at user login without showing the GUI? We prefer to place shortcuts directly on the desktop, and this works, but the end users have to open the application first.

I would prefer to not put the application into the startup folder, and was wondering if there's a registry key or other scripted way to accomplish this, the purpose just being less clicks for the end user.

Thank you

Hi Carl,

Yes, we are leveraging group policy for the Storefront address. It works without issue, and workspace is set to startup, but the user still has to open the application.

I'm of the impression dropping the application in the startup folder will resolve the issue, but it would be nice if there was something built in we can leverage.

Hi Darryl,

Thank you, but what we want is to have workspace startup without manual user intervention.
