New application access issues using SSO/Citrix for 3rd party partners vs. SSO/Citrix for company users

Hi, I work for a large organisation with multiple offshore locations, both internal and partner. We are seeing an issue whereby individuals using Citrix with an "@<companyA>.com" email address, using equipment/networks owned and maintained by <companyA> can login to a new application using Citrix & SSO, but partners also using "@<companyA>.com" email addresses but attempting login via Citrix & SSO on equipment/networks owned and maintained by <partnercompany> cannot login.

Some advice on where to start looking would be much appreciated - does it point to e.g. access permissions on partner networks/firewalls etc, or somewhere else?
