Endpoint not locking during ICA connection

We have a large number on on-prem devices connected into Citrix Cloud CVAD service for use by remote users wanting to hit a PC onsite. They are in a single session OS delivery group and published out as different desktops depending on tags (each tag is a different office/room). VDA v2009 has been installed onto the endpoints and they correctly register with the service.


At the start of an ICA session into the endpoints, some are not showing the lock screen on the local monitor, but rather they are showing the Citrix user interaction with the desktop. This is obviously causing a security concern. The issue only affects some endpoints (not managed to narrow down any differences between working and non-working yet) and does not effect RDP sessions to the same machines - so the issue is limited to ICA sessions.


Has anyone sen this before / fixed this?
