Random socket connection errors from Home VPN users

I have users who are working from home and unable to launch published apps on some servers.

When they are getting the socket 10061 error they cannot even telnet to port 2598 on the citrix server.

EDT is off, so TCP is being used, not UDP.

1 thing is all these problem users are using Cisco Anyconnect for VPN to get into the network and if they disconnect VPN then reconnect, it will work for a period of time, then all of a sudden the traffic on port 2598 will start failing again.

Very strange... anyone else experience this? We cannot figure this one out.
