Process for upgrading UPM

It's been a little while since i've had to do an upgrade for UPM, and i'm trying to remember the process. We are upgrading from XenDesktop 7.15 CU2 to XenDesktop 7 1912 CU1 utilizing the native client and embedded GPO template for those versions. I've been reviewing the following link:




Do i upgrade the policy first and then all the clients?

We have a number of images so it will take some time to get all of them upgraded.


If this is the process, do i replace the adm file (since that is what we're using) with the newer version? will that support the older clients?

Or do i need to run the policy with both adm files until all clients are upgraded? Trying to recall if this later part is necessary.
