How to slowdown the appearance of the OS X menubar when using Workspace

Michael Sais

Question

There use to be an article in this forum that explained how to use some commands in the terminal to slowdown how fast the menubar shows in citrix workspace/receiver when you move your mouse to the top of the screen.  I need these commands because its almost impossible to work in full screen.  The link below is to that article but it appears to no longer be available.  I would appriciate any help with this issue.

I found it.  type in terminal this :

$ killall -KILL SystemUIServer

 $ defaults write com.citrix.receiver.nomas MenuBarAutoShowDelayEnabled -bool YES

$ defaults write com.citrix.receiver.nomas MenuBarAutoShowDelay -float 10.0

that should add a 10 second delay to the menubar in OS X

I hope this is helpful to someone and if it needs correcting, that somebody will post it here.
