Teams not connecting calls randomly

Hi we find that often Teams one to one video calls are not connecting.


The behavior we find is that if a user calls someone, it appears as if they are not there, the call just rings and rings.


But the user at the other end is accepting the call, but the call is not answered.


Some patterns I think I have noticed although I cannot be 100%


- When it happens others on the same VDA have the same issue

- There are more people on our VDAs now, and Teams uses a lot of memory, I think the memory is getting a bit stretched, I often notice it a t80% in the day

- restarting Teams sometimes fixes it, logging off and on to a different VDA usually fixes it


Our setup is


Server 2016


VDA 1912 

CVA 1912
