Zoom VDI client in Citrix Virtual Apps - video not displaying

Question

We have installed the Zoom VDI client on Windows Server 2012 R2 running CVAD 1912, CU1.  Using the Zoom Plugin for VDI on a Windows PC, we can connect to the Zoom meetings and successfully connect to the webcam.  The problem is that the user cannot see their own video preview or the video of the other participants.  Their webcam is working just fine so other attendees can see and hear them just fine.  It is just the video in the virtual app session that is not displaying.  In an interesting twist, using the beta version of the Zoom VDI plugin for Mac it works just fine.  

 

I know that this is technically not supported by Zoom or Citrix, but I also know that other's have it working in their environments.  So, if you have it working in your environment, would you be willing to share information about your environment that may be able to help me find a clue?  Citrix Receiver/Workspace app version?  Citrix Policies in CVAD?  Other ideas?
