Office 2016 activation issue when using security and control policy template

Hi all,

Seeing an odd issue with our environment whereby users do not get their office activation if the security and control policy template as

was seeing we had local endpoint drive access in particular and wanted to block that.


Environment is LTSR 1912 CU1 Win10 1909 Office 2016.


Issue is not random as per https://support.citrix.com/article/CTX227286 - if I invoke the security and control policy template it always occurs - if I disable it the problem goes away but I would like to enable it and really am not seeing what setting in there would cause such an issue. 

Any suggestions most welcome!
