We have Studio and the PVS Console installed in an App Layer. We also have created a custom msc that is configured to connect to our Production and Test Delivery Controllers and Provisioning Servers. We then publish the layers out to a PVS vDisk and run a couple of Server OS VDAs from it for our Administrators. We include a number of administrative apps in this image. One place to access, one place to update.

or a remote .msc management console that you can use to connect back to the actual storefront server (kind of like the PVS .msc console that connects to the backend PVS servers) ?

I've been wondering that myself since now we have multiple admins needed to log on to the actual storefront server to see live status and do 'right now' ad-hoc user management.

Note that although Citrix Director is a sort of web console that does some of the user/session management it's not the same because it always uses 'old' data whereas Studio shows the actual 'right now' situation.
