Black address bar, Disappeared address bar

Question

Hi guys,

 

We have a client who works with Igel ThinClients (latest version) and published Desktops. Unfortunately it happens from time to time that the address line turns black or disappears. With a relogon the issue is usually fixed.

Windows Explorer:

Internet Explorer

OS: Windows Server 2016

VDA: 1912 CU1

 

We already tried to fix it with the CAX Tool (value: 0x003AD816) but the problem still exists. 

 

Does anyone know, how we can fix this issue?

Hello Florian

 

We have the same issue with the newest IGEL OS 11.05.133.01 and the previous 11.04.240.01. From time to time the address bar from Windows Explorer and Internet Explorer is corrupted.

 

Now we have disabled the feature "HDX Adaptive Transport over EDT" on the IGEL Thin Client. We will see if this is the root cause.

 

Do you have an other solution for this issue?
