Microsoft Teams Optimization in Citrix Xenapp

Question

Hi, we have 1912 installed on the server side and the clients have workspace 2006 installed.

 

Teams is working well but it seems better for some than others.

 

For some the video seems to be a bit jumpy and the video can be a second or so behind the audio.

 

For others it is great.

 

Is there a way I can optimize it at all? 

 

I'm wondering if the client is struggling to keep up with the CPU and memory needed from the Teams HDX?

Hi RSDunn

 

Are all the desktop clients on the same network?

Do they all have unrestricted access to the internet, or are they going through some type of content filter/proxy server?

Are all the desktop devices built using the same image?

 

Take a read of https://docs.citrix.com/en-us/citrix-virtual-apps-desktops/multimedia/opt-ms-teams.html, specifically the Network requirements section and see if anything there is applicable to your environment
