Cisco IP Communicator on Citrix Virtual Apps 7.15 LTSR

Hello, posting here in case I'm able to get an answer as I've looked everywhere and keep finding dead ends. If I'm missing information, please ask so that I can check.



External users from multiple sites are connecting to Windows 10 VDI machines that have Cisco IP Communicator installed. The VDI environment is running on XenDesktop 7.15 LTSR and VMware vSphere 6.x.



Users are complaining about choppy/lagging audio during calls, sometimes the user can't hear the other person or it's choppy and sometimes the other person can't hear the user. Sometimes the call will drop.


We can see that the hosts have a lot of resources available and there are other VDI machines running on the same cluster/hosts. The affected VDI machines have the difference of Cisco IP Communicator soft phones.



Please let me know if there's any other questions you have to help identify root cause.
