RTOP2.8 - Is anyone Permanently losing HXD Realtime connection after network disruption?

We seem to get a lot of problems with HDX Realtime connector for Skype for Business for home users.

It seems solid enough most of the time - but with people working from home , whenever there is a nework disruption, the citrix session will come back (session reliability) but the HDX connection does not come back and reverts to unoptimised state - then the user has no audio in SFB.

The solution at the moment is that users have to log back in from scratch with 2 factor authentication and its a pain

Does anyone know if there is a way of making it reconnect without having to log in from scratch ? - like re-starting the HDX engine from the client?


We have Citrix Virtual Apps and desktops 1912 LTSR running on Windows 2016 Servers with RTOP2.8 - using a mixture of Windows 2016 and Windows 10 for multi-user and single session desktops.
