VDA Agent 7.15 CU3 logs off Static Desktop active session instead of disconnect

Was looking for any guidance/direction , we have deployed VDA Agent 7.15 CU3 on about 2000 physical workstations for users to connect using Remote PC access feature 


Off the 2000 deployments , we have observed an issue when a session terminates due to network disruption/idle timeout , the VDA session logs off instead of disconnecting the session 

There are no log off policies set on Citrix Studio , idle session timeout policies are set to disconnect the session


Reinstalling VDA agent hasnt helped 


We have a case open with Citrix , however hasnt been of much help  with the CDF traces etc , recommendation is to upgrade to CU5 , however was wondering if anyone in this group have come across similar issues and if there are any fixes apart from agent upgrade that we could try out,
