There is no Citrix XenApp Server configured on the specified address : [Socket error 10060]

Jules Lister

Question

Hi ,

We have a Citrix Virtual Apps 7.15 environment and are trying to get external users to connect to it . On trying to launch an application  it gets the above error . Ive had a look in the ica file on the client and I do see that the IP address in it is an internal address (of one of the virtual app servers) . I did see a technote about removing some of the section of the 'optimal farm gateway' section in the web.config which I have done but this had no effect on resolving the issue. This will happen on any client .

Any advice would be appreciated

Thanks

David

As the ICA file contain Server's IP instead of the STA ticket, there is some thing wrong in the configuration.  This issue might cause due to several issues, I assume you went through the below articles, if not please look into them and try the resolution.

if the above articles didn't help you, please go through below whitepaper- it has detailed information on how to configure Optimal Gateway Routing for Storefront & NetScaler.
