Client connections fewer than server connections.

Recommended Posts

There are different connection timeout values configured on the front end (client connection) and back end (server connections). A user connects into a VIP and establishes a client connection to the LB Vserver, the service or servicegroup also establishes a connection to the back end application servers (server connection). If the user closes the browser or that client connection times out the back end (server connection) may stay open where the front end (client connection) may close. Look at your timeout values configured on the LB Vserver and Service/Servicegroup as well, they can be modified but I would not worry too much about this as these will likely fluctuate all the time.
