Interface Channel - Netscaler ADC

Recommended Posts

Hi All,

We have two MPX 5900 configured Active-passive across two different DC sites (DC-1 and DC-2) .   We have planned 04 different environment applications to be host on this ADC with different traffic domain (eg TD1, TD2, TD3, TD4) . All 04 environment to be configure with Virtual IP pool/VLANs (eg 10,20,30,40)

Vlan-10 = 10.10.10.0/24 (TD1)

Vlan-20 = 10.10.20.0/24 (TD2)

Vlan-30 = 10.10.30.0/24 (TD3)

Vlan-40 = 10.10.40.0/24 (TD4)

At DC-1,  MPX-1 port 1/4 and 1/5 are connected with two Leaf Switches (DC1Sw-1 and DC1Sw-2) respectively. i.e. MPX port 1/4 connected with DC1Sw-1 and port 1/5 connected with DC2Sw-2.

At DC-2 , MPX-2 port 1/4 and 1/5 are connected with two Leaf Switches (DC2Sw-1 and DC2Sw-2) respectively. i.e. MPX port 1/4 connected with DC2Sw-1 and port 1/5 connected with DC2Sw-2.

At switches side we have created vPC, but When we are creating port channel(Interface channel) at MPX end (LA1/1) mapping interface 1/4 and 1/5. There is no option to trunk all the 04 VLANs(10,20,30,40)..Is this due to different traffic domains we have.   So at a moment we are able to  configure only 01 VLAN out of 04.

Please suggest so that we have Trunk and Allow all 04 VLANs on MPLS Channel . Or can we do it on Interfaces directly 1/4 and 1/5.

We avoiding this, because at switched end we have vPC configure.
