Machine catalog naming issues

Question

I created new desktop machines with a naming convention for example WIN10X0## and created around 10 desktops. Then I deleted around 7 desktops and removed everything from Active Directory, DNS and DHCP servers also.  Unfortunately, when I spin new desktops it is starting 11, 12 and above. I checked everywhere, and I am not sure why it would not start back from 004 onwards.

Any suggestions where else I need to look into. Otherwise I need to change the naming convention again which I do not want to do.

Thank you in advance.

Hi

Using the powershell command to modify the StartCount: Please see here
asnp Citrix*
Get-AcctIdentityPool
Set-AcctIdentityPool -IdentityPoolName PoolName -StartCount Num(Num is the number you want to start)

You can check the PoolName running this Get-AcctIdentityPool

There another way you can reset Please check this here

1. Get-AcctIdentityPool  to get the identity pool name

2. To change the "start count" to the number you want in this example the startcount will change to X
New-AcctAdAccount -IdentityPoolName '%IdentityPoolName%' -Count 1 -StartCount X

Thanks

Thanks I found this same in another article and also went and looked at the Citrix SDK development docs and fixed it. But, yes this command line fixed the issue.
