require to replace the certificate through the cli

Recommended Posts

Hi,
Certificates can be updated from the CLI by running update ssl certKey MyCert. However, the certificate files must be stored somewhere on the appliance, and already be in PEM format. Please click here for more info

update ssl certkey <certkeyName> -cert <string> -key <string>

update ssl certKey MyCert

show ssl certKey <certkeyName>

Thanks

Even though "somewhere on the appliance" may be technically right, I would strongly recommend saving it to /nsconfig/ssl, as this is the place where certificates go! "Somewhere", of course, is restricted to /var and /flash and it's subfolders, all the other folders will get lost during boot.
