Need Urgent Help about Xen Server 6.5 please

Hi Everyone,

 

I recently joined a company where they have Xen Server 6.5 installed on third party cloud dedicated server with few vms. All things were working alrite till yesterday. now I am facing an issue i.e when ever i tried to access xen server from xencenter 6.5 i got disconnect after 2 mins and the ip i used to connect got block and i start geting error connection is refused. 

 

as i m new to citrix can any body help me with this error please.

Hello, It could be an issue with XAPI service crashing or not starting. I am thinking that your VMs are not affected by this, It is just that you can't connect host via XenCenter.

Try connecting to individual host IP by putty (If not possible need to go to console session)

 

1. Run below command to check space utilization of partitions like /dev/sda1 & /dev/sda5

    #df -h

 

2. If you see 100% utilization then need to free up some space by navigating to /var/log  (You can use WINSCP tool for it )

 

3. Now attempt to restart service. 

     #xe-toolstack-restart

 

4. Now attempt to connect to host via XenCenter.
