Citrix Viewer/workspace doesn't allow full screen as an option

When the initial Remote Desktop Connection dialog opens, Click 'Show Options' and make certain Display is set to 'Full Screen' (Slider all the way to the right.  I've seen cases where this was set but did not take effect until the slider was moved left and then back to Full screen again.

I tried that but unfortunately it doesn't work. I've also tried switching to a scaled display, but as soon as I do that Citrix viewer immediately crashes.
