External display issue after upgrade to Citrix Workspace for Android 20.3.0

I use Acer Chromebook 14" to connect to my company site (via web store) via Workspace app for Android.  My usual setup is, i connect an external

monitor via hdmi cable, and close the laptop.  No issues.. After the app was upgraded to 20.3.0, i started having issues. After external display connects, 

after about 10-20 sec, the screen jitters, as if there is some sort of interference, and finally, goes blank or white.  I tried all settings on the app (Fit screen, Optimize for High res,etc..), nothing

seems to work.. The only thing that works if i have the laptop screen open in parallel...  Any ideas, please...?  Thanks.
