Reduce icons size in StoreFront 1912

Hello,

I would like to reduce the size of the application icons in Storefront version 1912.

I have found several articles on the web that discusses the topic for previous versions of Storefront.

But the modifications to the Styles.css file proposed do not seem to work in version 1912 ...

For example i tried adding this code to the styles.css file :

.storeapp-details-link {
    height:94px;
}
.storeapp-icon {
    height:45px;
    width:45px;
}
.storeapp-list .storeapp, .storeapp-list .folder {
    width: 202px;
}

But that does not change the size of the icons, they remain huge.

Thank you for your help.

Nicolas

Nicolas,

When you are overriding inline styles, you need to use the !important keyword.

I think the tiles look better in a grid of 150x150 than with a width of 202px.

Try this:

.storeapp-details-link {
    height:94px !important;
}
.storeapp-icon {
    height:45px !important;
    width:45px !important;
}
.storeapp-list .storeapp, .storeapp-list .folder {
    height: 150px !important;
    width: 150px !important;
}

There is a little bit of documentation around customization of StoreFront from Citrix, but most come from CTP/CTA blogs, such as:

https://www.citrixguru.com/2016/03/08/lab-ultimate-storefront-customization-guide/ and

https://www.carlstalhood.com/storefront-cr-tweaks/

However, as far as I am aware, none of them address the newer features of StoreFront 19xx, such as asked in this post.

Sam,

Is there also a way to disable the truncating of long application names?

Some of our applications now have three dots (...) in them which looks ugly and is unusable.

The older customizations for this don't seem to work anymore.

I also tried making the icons bigger using your code from this page:

https://discussions.citrix.com/topic/408235-reduce-icons-size-in-storefront-1912

Unfortunately that doesn't create more 'room' for the application name.

.storeapp-details-link {
    height:94px !important;
}
.storeapp-icon {
    height:45px !important;
    width:45px !important;
}
.storeapp-list .storeapp, .storeapp-list .folder {
    height: 202px !important;
    width: 202px !important;
}
.storeapp-name {
    height:36px !important;
    width:200px !important;
}
