Remote Desktop on Windows 10 Build 1909

John Francis1709160537

Question

I have Windows 10 Build 1909 golden image and I created few MCS machines. It would take ever to login and at the logon prompt it would spin. So, I googled and found out that this is an issue with the Build 1909 so tried to following the steps to make sure that Remote Desktop is allowed based on these URLs. First time I got it right and am not sure and the desktops launched but then I wanted to add some more software so I tried again installing like Citrix Quality Indicator etc.. and tried to RDP in and it would keep in spinning.

Is there something why I am not able to RDP into the machine? Without these spinning out desktops it does not launch at all as it spins and spins and never logs in. I just tried with IP address and it logs in, but with the computer name it is not logging in and it keeps spinning. I did entered a local hostname also on my computer to connect to it as per the instructions below. But with IP address it worked fine. But, this will be a problem if I spin out machines which will be accessed through machine name.
