Display issues with RDP session through citrix

So i have a user using citrix to get to an rdp shortcut we left on the computer. The user can get in but for whatever reason cannot click anything on the screen that isn't set as his main display in display settings. So everything is normal on the main display within the rdp session but nothing can be clicked on the users end for the seconday display. I've re-installed citrix, updated display drivers, tried adjusting the resolution on both monitors (making them equal, disparate). The even wierder thing about this is the fact that i can interact with both screens through the remote session (screen connect) I am using. Any ideas?
