For the "broken" pinned apps in the start menu, you have to apply the LayoutModification.xml as a part of the Default Profile, the steps for that is also described in the article.

The apps under C,M,S,W looks like some of the Universal Apps, that come with Windows 10, but it also looks like you have run some kind of optimizer to remove some Universal Apps, like Citri Optimizer?

Hi,

 

If you have configured the GPO as I have mentioned in the article, this is perfectly normal behavior. All programs in the Default User Start Menu is hidden, this way you can use WEM to populate the Start Menu with both app shortcuts and/or pinned apps.

 

If you don't want this behavior, you can set this "Remove common programs group from Start Menu" to disabled or not configured, how ever this will make it harder to creat a nice customized start menu for the users.
