Creating Master Image windows server 2016

ted assefa

I want to create  a Windows 2016 as a Master Image with a write cache disk (D drive) on PVS.

I wonder if there is a blue print or a guide based on 2016 what to choose.

Suppose I want to choose:

System disk 150Gb and I want to use it for about 10 users. What must I choose as the size of:

Size of D Drive for write cache

Size of Memory for Windows

Size in pvs Cache in Device RAM with overflow on the Hard disk

For RDSH VDAs, typical size of memory caching is around 4 GB. Disk space for overflow depends on how big user profiles are and how big the pagefile is. I've seen between 20 and 100 GB for overflow cache disk size.

Hi Carl

If you allow me a question: What is the benefit of assigning 4GB caching memory to the vDisk? At this time, we assign 2GB on each vDisk, but I've always wondered whats the benefit of assigning more memory. :)
