Screen issues after server software update

Question

I'm working on a MacBook Pro 16" running Catalina 10.15.3, logging into our Citrix server via web login and Citrix Viewer. Since the server upgrade, I continually get strange screen issues, particularly when viewing Excel worksheets (see attached screen shots).

 

IT support suggested going into option on Workspace/Receiver and changing DPI settings under advanced options. There are no advanced settings regarding DPI settings in the Citrix Viewer or, when I open up Workspace.

Hi,

 

The DPI setting only applies to the Windows version of Workspace App, so that won't work, and it also doesn't look like the issue. You'd be seeing blurry text and things like that.

 

Do you know what version the server was updated to?

We've seen reports of the same behaviour, but under very specific circumstances (GPUs in the servers and very recent Citrix versions on server). For instance, see this thread:

Is your environment GPU powered?
