Windows Server 2016 with XenApp 7.15 CU5 and KB4534271 Windows Updates causes leftover suspended processes

We've run across an issue with Windows Server 2016 servers with XenApp 7.15 CU5 and the latest Windows 2020-01 Cumulative Updates (KB4534271) applied. The issue appears to be wide-spread but doesn't cause any end user issues that we received reports of. What we are seeing is leftover RDP sessions where there is only a single suspended process (such as iexplore.exe) from an ICA session that has absolutely nothing else running. So it's just a single process. In the attached example "session id 9" shows an example of the issue. The process can't be killed. To clear the errant leftover process the server has to be rebooted. I can open any random 2016 Server and will see one or two of these. The issue ins't occurring on Server 2012 R2 with 7.15 CU5 so I'm guessing that it's a Microsoft KB4534271 update issue. Anyone else seeing this issue?

The issue seems to persist with either KB4534271 installed or uninstalled. And setting DEP  to "Turn on DEP for essential Windows programs and services only" also ins't a permanent fix either. It just seems to be a random problem. Not sure why the problem occurs or who is at fault, Citrix or Microsoft. Fortunately it doesn't seem to hurt anything for the process to be stuck in "suspended". Go figure...
