How to Change NetScaler nsroot password Hash from SHA1 to SHA256?

Hi,

Not exactly what you asked, but v12.1 uses SHA512 by default after you change the password.  (Can use the same password).

Original nsroot password shows SHA1 usage:

Set the password (use something other than nsroot nsroot)!!

show running | grep "system user"

now shows SHA512 hash:

Does that help, or do you explicitly need to use SHA256?
